I have not. I have hope. One of the people I work with said she wanted to move to another country. I think this is more of a reason to stay right here and get to work at whatever it is that makes her happy.
Every generation believes that the world is going to shit and that the then current administration is shit and . . . .
well I think it is very wrong to think that
we have come a long way as a country
remember we are the NKOTB (new kids on the block - western civ block)
back to Moore
I studied him in college (his earlier work)
he has had an agenda for sometime - I think his latest work was great only in that I have seen him evolve over the years
to me it was a sell out - stooping to their level and it will be dismissed as such in history - his legacy is now in jepardy
its theme was that of hate - and that is a weapon of mass destruction
Documentaries should be a bit more balanced, and fair to a reasonable yet subjective point
too much is too much - less is (not) Moore
my only concern was that those who went to F9/11 and laughed were the ones who voted for Bush at the end of the day
how many people went and saw the film and what was the margin of victory for Bush?
In the end I don't want Moore fighting my battles or stirring up the bees hive unless its like he used to do it
Norman Mailer once said the best way to over turn the hegemonic was to too go undercover. Dress like them, act like them, talk like them. Get invited to their parties, there meetings and then from the inside start the revolution
sure we can flank the center, but will that position hold
sure we can flank the flank, but the center will not hold
who knows the next move each one of us has up our sleeve
drive a car into the FOX network front office
scream out that we are mad as hell and we are not going to take it anymore
sure go ahead and scream - now you standout
stay silent and carry a big stick
I dont know what you do Angry Jason or anyone reading out there
but alot of stuff starts with the inside - with the man in the mirror
I don't think we as a culture are ready for the change that needs to be made or we would have done it but that doesnt mean we will not one day
this is the course we have chosen
So in the end Vote or Die was a good start and P-Diddy remains a soldier to me on several levels but MTV as a platform please
Moore is an art God and a good father, but global surveyor, maybe
