www.michaelmoore.com/words/m...ndex.php
"The Iraqis who have risen up against the occupation are not "insurgents" or "terrorists" or "The Enemy." They are the REVOLUTION, the Minutemen, and their numbers will grow -- and they will win."
---------
I will mourn the fallen. They are not occupiers.. They are liberators and heroes. May their sacrifice help bring freedom to Iraq. This will help us by moving to resolve the 'root problems' that cause terrorism to come from the Middle East. Leftists say we hand a hand in causing these root problems. George Bush had the vision to hear that and move to resolve that by moving to replace tyranny. When the same people find fault with that it smacks of simple partisanship.
May their sacrifice, fidelity, and honor be remembered. -

Their sacrifice has never been meant to bring freedom to Iraq. They're just cannon fodder in an operation to replace dictators after the last puppet dictator cut his strings. Bush has put our troops in the line of fire without having had any real plans. They should be honored, but it should not be forgotten that their lives were flushed down the toilet by George Bush and the neocons pulling his strings in a war we had no business fighting and no solid plan for winning.

Oh yeah, let's replace a dictator who at least kept radical Islam in check with complete and total chaos. That's a brilliant foreign policy. Please tell us how the Iraqi people are better off now that they have to dodge bullets and bombs on a daily basis and Al Quaeda can operate freely. It's not partisanship. It's common sense. Anybody can plainly see that the Iraq war is a complete and total disaster. Those who toe the Bush line that it's liberating the Iraqis are the ones who are the partisans.

Not only leftists say this, our declassified government documents. Remember the Rumsfeld Saddam handshake? He was our buddy back then - this was AFTER he used Chemical Weapons. Rummy was shaking his hand because he was whoring for Bechtel to get a pipeline deal. Think I am a whacky lefty conspiracy nut? Here's the actual declassified documents - Read it and weep (for our country, and the countless people on all sides who lost their lives):
